Metanoia Ministries

History

The organization was founded as a reintegration home in 1996. After closing in 2000, it was restored in 2005 with a focus on discipleship during incarceration. Over the years, Metanoia has expanded its partnerships and programs, including a mentoring program at Walker State Prison in 2012 and a ministry partnership with Ligonier Ministries.

In 2024, Lowell Ivey became the new Executive Director, marking a transition towards a more integrated partnership with the visible church through Mission to North America (MNA).
