Oatmeal is my favorite! ☀️ After that, I get to go for a ride in my pink wagon, and I always bring my Minnie Mouse with me! We’re proud to share that Cook County now officially recognizes the National Day of Racial Healing on January 21st! 🎉 For years, Brightpoint Community Child Care Center of Palatine Township has partnered with Commissioner Scott Britton and his Cook County United Against Hate initiative to foster understanding, equity, and healing in our communities. Last week, Commissioner Britton personally handed over the official Cook County resolution recognizing this important day—an incredible milestone in our collective efforts toward racial justice! Jennifer Ayala, Site Manager at Brightpoint Community Child Care Center of Palatine Township, shared, "We are proud to accept this recognition! We have worked with Commissioner Britton and Cook County Against Hate for a few years now, to spread our shared vision of welcoming all! I am proud to work at a center that celebrates diversity!"
