Opening Reception tonight! Friday, April 4, 5-7 PM: Cynthia Atwood & Mark Lorah, Heidi Broner, Chris Papa Four artists whose work fundamentally relates to process, shape, texture, and color. Techniques such as hand stitching, detailed assembled sculptures, and mark-making invite us to examine the details closely while also encouraging us to appreciate the overall experience of the exhibition with our senses and our bodies. This approach fosters intuitive responses and flexibility, prompting us to reflect on the unexpected connections between distinct bodies of work and reminding us of the many ways in which everything in life is interconnected. Artist talks: Cynthia Atwood & Mark Lorah: Sat. April 5, 2-4 PM. Heid Broner & Chris Papa: Sat. April 19, 2-4 PM. #heyuppervalley #nhartsconnect #vermontartist #vtartist #weloveartists #weloveart #nonprofitarts #communitygallery #contemporaryartists #contemporaryart #abstractpainter #fiberartists #contemporarysculptor #contemporarysculptures #meaningmaking #contemporaryfigurativepainting (fb)
