SoulFormation

SoulFormation is a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by Morris Dirks, with the primary mission of fostering the spiritual and emotional health of Christian leaders. The organization aims to support leaders in various ministry and nonprofit roles, enhancing their effectiveness and sustainability by promoting transformative spiritual experiences.

Mission and Purpose

SoulFormation exists to care for the wholeness of Christian leaders, recognizing the importance of spiritual health in ministry. The organization is grounded in the conviction that transformed leaders are essential for transforming the world. It emphasizes the role of God's love and grace in healing and transforming leaders who have faced challenges within their roles.

Programs

SoulFormation offers several key programs designed to support Christian leaders in their spiritual journeys:

• The Academy of Spiritual Formation: This program provides an eighteen-month applied spiritual formation experience, focusing on deepening leaders' connection with Christ.
• The School of Spiritual Direction: The school offers advanced teaching and practical engagement in spiritual direction, enabling participants to develop solid academic knowledge alongside hands-on experience.
• Other Initiatives: SoulFormation also conducts retreats and programs inspired by the teachings of St. Ignatius, including The 19th Annotation and Space for God retreats.
