Home About Training Resources Contact Store Biblecontent Basic Reading Solutions since 1975 DONATE Christian Literacy Associates 3 8 Our Mission For more than 40 years Christian Literacy Associates CLA has been engaging and equipping churches parents ministries and missionaries to meet the basic reading needs of children and adults while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a part of the reading lessons. Today in the United States there are approximately 40 million functionally illiterate adults. As well in our nation 80 of lowincome 4th grade children read below grade level. Our mission is to mobilize the Christian community to address the basic reading needs of children and adults while exposing the student to the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
