The Butler County Humane Society is a no kill, non-profit animal shelter helping people and pets in Butler, PA for over 126 years. The Butler County Humane Society, a non-profit organization, in association with the Helen Spade Albig Adoption Center, provides a temporary, safe, no-kill shelter for homeless, adoptable dogs and cats ultimately placing them in loving homes or with caring rescues while increasing community awareness of the humane treatment of animals through education, spay-neuter programs, rabies clinics, and the respect for life.

Home - Butler County Humane Society Donate Now to Save Lives Butler County Humane Society depends on generous donations from individuals businesses and foundations to fund our programs supplies and operational expenses. BCHS provides the animals in its program with food shelter veterinary care enrichment and resources necessary to find a forever family. But we need your help. Our mission is to provide a temporary safenokill shelter for homeless unwanted and abandoned lost cats and dogs ultimately placing them in loving homes or with caring rescues while increasing community awarenessof the humane treatment of animals through education spayneuter programs rabies clinics and a respect for life.
