A website makes it real. Maritime Heritage Alliance To preserve, interpret, share and promote the maritime heritage of the Great Lakes through on the water experiences and in shop activities. Experiential learning is part of our Great Lakes History, and we want to create self confidence and resilience in our community through positive maritime activities. We serve all ages from 8 to 108 to create an environment of intergenerational learning.

SAIL Champion Champion has over 120 youth cross her decks a year as well as social workers in our Halyards for Healers program and specialized all day adventures with the Traverse Bay Outrigger Canoe Club.
