The New Jersey State First Aid Council, now doing business as the EMS Council of New Jersey, is celebrating 95 years of volunteer EMS in New Jersey! Volunteer EMS in New Jersey since 1929. THE PURPOSE IS TO BRING TOGETHER MEMBERS OF FIRST AID AND RESCUE SQUADS IN ORDER TO DISCUSS METHODS OF BETTERMENT FOR THE AMBULANCE SERVICE, THE REDUCTION OF LOSS OF LIFE, THE DEVELOPMENT OF A BETTER SERVICE THROUGH AN EDUCATION PROGRAM AND FOSTER A SPIRIT OF HARMONY AND FRIENDSHIP AMONG THE VARIOUS NON-PROFIT SQUADS

EMS Council of New Jersey - EMS Council of New Jersey September 11 Memorial Status Update On June 6 2024 the granite company installers arrived from Massachusetts to assemble the towers bearing the names of the EMS responders killed at the World Trade Center on September 11 2001. We watched as the installers assembled the four pieces of granite into two towers caulked the connecting pieces and then cleaned and polished the stones. This slideshow gives you an overview of what went into assembling our monument. We still need to pour a concrete floor and install our WTC steel piece.
