Sharing The Journey International VolcanoDisaster Relief Scheduled Mission Trips The Heart Of Our Mission Is The Hope Of Nations A Heart To Serve We were overwhelmed as the old wooden doors of the orphanage were opened and we saw people lined up as far as the eye could see. Our first experience on the mission field in the 1990s opened our eyes to the extreme poverty and lack of healthcare resources that are commonplace in many of the worlds developing countries. We saw families devastated by parasites blindess infections and severe deformities. The Reality Throughout the next 20 years of medical and surgical mission trips we began to see the greater need of the people.
