We are a sisterhood of musicians, coming together to respect and honor each other, the music, and the mission of the San Diego Women's Chorus. Through musical expression, the San Diego Women's Chorus encourages womens' creativity, celebrates diversity, and inspires social action.

Since its founding by 14 lesbians in 1987 the San Diego Womens Chorus has strived to be a safe feminist space that encourages creativity celebrates diversity and inspires social action. SDWC is proudly trans and nonbinary inclusive welcoming women and people of other marginalized genders who sing in the SopranoAlto treble range. As a nonprofit community chorus SDWC entertains and inspires audiences with music that highlights diverse themes from human rights to world peace from environmental harmony to cultural diversity.
