American Slave History American Slave History History Teachers This is a DVD series called On The Road To The Abolition Of Slavery. It is a presentation of Slavery in the United States in the 18th and 19th centuries featuring live interviews reenacted of course with the people who fought for and against the institution of slavery. You hear what they did said and thought about the whole institution of slavery directly in their own words without any 3rd person narration which could act as a lecture. These are made for classroom discussions with two major departures from the traditional way history is taught by a professor.
