THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES INSTRUCTION AND COACHING TO YOUTH IN COMPETITIVE SOCCER. THE ORGANIZATION HAS TWICE WEEKLY PRACTICES AND INSTRUCTION AFTER SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS/PLAYERS WITH LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COACHES. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION HAD 6 TEAMS (APPROXIMATELY 100 PLAYERS), CONSISTING EXCLUSIVELY OF ITS STUDENTS, PARTICIPATING IN COMPETITIVE PLAY IN COAST SOCCER LEAGUE, A MEMBER LEAGUE IN CAL YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION - SOUTH (CYSA). IN TURN, CYSA IS A MEMBER OF US YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (USYSA), THE GOVERNING BODY FOR COMPETITIVE YOUTH SOCCER IN THE USA. USYSA OPERATES OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT TEAMS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION THIS PAST YEAR HAS SENT ITS TEAMS TO SEVERAL SOCCER TOURNAMENTS INCLUDING LEAGUE CUP & STATE CUP. INSTRUCTION/PRACTICES ARE HELD AT LOCAL SCHOOLS UNDER PERMIT FROM THE LAS VIRGENES SCHOOL DISTRICT. ALL BOARD MEMBERS ARE VOLUNTEERS. THE ORGANIZATION CHARGES A MODEST REGISTRATION FEE TO ITS STUDENTS/PLAYERS IN COMPARISON TO OTHER SUCH SIMILAR
