This Mother’s Day, we honor the strength and resilience of mothers in South Sudan. Women who carry their babies and their communities—walking miles for water, planting seeds of hope, and holding on to dreams for their children’s futures. Some of these same women are now leading well repairs in their own communities. They’re not just holding their families together, they’re rebuilding what was broken. Every mother deserves clean water for her family and dignity in her daily life. To the women repairing wells, raising children, and rewriting what’s possible, today, we celebrate you. #mothersday #happymothersday #waterisbasic #cleanwater #WESI #southsudan #waterislife #wellrepair #sustainability #generosity 📷: @paoloverzani (fb)

a powerfulsolution GIVE WATER NOW We believe the water crisis is best solved by those most impacted by it women. What We Do We give women the primary water gatherers in Africa the resources they need to repair wells themselves. We start with successful women entrepreneurs and add indepth business training wellrepair expertise and water well committee development training. Now with more than 30 selfsustaining teams hundreds of thousands of South Sudanese are seeing their wells repaired in days instead of months and years.
