NERFA (Northeast Regional Folk Alliance) is a regional affiliate of Folk Alliance Intl, a nonprofit o Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) is an affiliate of Folk Alliance International -- a Kansas City, MO-based nonprofit membership organization that seeks to nurture, engage and empower the international folk music community through education, advocacy and performance. NERFA holds an annual conference in Stamford, Connecticut in November and sponsors a series of NERFA Presents Young Folk showcases and other music community focused workshops.
