He was an allstar receiver in football a captain of the hockey team and voted most artistic and best personality by his senior classmates. During college at UMASS Dartmouth he played guitar in a rock band and studied digital media. In April 2008 Brian was diagnosed with metastatic Ewings sarcoma a rare pediatric bone cancer.
