The Pegasus Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife advocacy, conservation and animal welfare. The Pegasus Foundation is an activist grant maker, and an advocate for animal welfare and species protection. We identify, fund and partner with with nonprofit organizations who have demonstrated impact, leadership and sustainability in these priority areas: Marine Animal Rescue and Protection, Wildlife and Habitat Protection, and Animal Welfare. We place a high value on collaborative projects, partner with those we fund over multiple years, and foster networking and communication among our grantees and others. Reclassified in 2014 as a public charity, we also initiate and implement our own projects, and we advocate for policy changes that advance our priority areas of interest. In striving for the greatest strategic impact in our grantmaking, we do not accept unsolicited requests.
