We are thrilled to welcome Kevin Janicki as our new Conservation Easement Steward. With a degree from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Kevin has a strong background in forest ecosystem science. In his most recent position he was with the DEC, so he also has practical, hands-on experience in forest health and invasive species management (and the technical know how to operate all the many tools he'll need in the field). Kevin leaped right into his new role this week by spending the day monitoring a hemlock grove at one of our newest properties. Welcome, Kevin! #InTheFieldFriday (fb)
