We are a nonprofit organization in Crystal Lake, IL. Our mission is to support the process of recovery from substance abuse and addiction. NDARS is a nonprofit addiction services network helping the McHenry County, IL, region. When hurricane Katrina struck, there was NO plan in place to assist the 1000's of animals who were displaced and injured. We at NDARS stand ready at a moments notice to move into damaged regions with supplies, food, medical assistance, and volunteers to save any animal in danger.....and we do it in hours, not days or weeks afterward.
