Empowering the next generation of diverse health professionals. MIMS is a nonprofit organization operating in Oakland California. Our mission is to increase the number of underrepresented health professionals through mentoring career exposure and leadership development. Since its inception in March 2006 MIMS has impacted over 4000 community members and recruited over 150 health professional volunteers in the Bay Area to partner in its mission to increase diversity in the health workforce.
