BEFORE & AFTER For the last month (since he came to us), I've been treating Asher for an upper respiratory infection. He constantly sounded congested, snuffy, snotty. I've tried *all* the antibiotics, nebulizing, antihistamines, etc. Nothing helped. Given the pinched shaped of his nostrils, I highly suspected Asher needed stenotic nares surgery (to widen his nose holes). Dr R agreed with me. Surgery was completed on Tuesday. Dr R removed tissue from the top AND bottom of Asher's nostrils. He reported that Asher's left nostrils was completely blocked, the right severely restricted. No wonder Asher sounded like a walking asthma attack!!! Asher is doing wonderfully! He makes no noise when breathing. He seems to be breathing much easier.
