Delta College Foundation

The Delta College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in January 1979, dedicated to raising funds that support the educational initiatives and financial needs of Delta College. Its creation was formalized through the efforts of three founders: Stuart Bergstein, Donald J. Carlyon, and Everett Luce, who sought to enhance educational opportunities for students in the region.

Impact

Over the years, the Delta College Foundation has successfully raised over $90 million in private donations, significantly alleviating financial burdens for nearly 500 students through scholarships. The foundation also supports various programs, including a Student Food Pantry that has assisted thousands of students since its inception.
