Sad Day at the Hanover Area YMCA It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our most beloved and dedicated members, Les Savino, just shy of his 103rd birthday. Les has been part of our Y family since 1983, showing up every single day for over 42 years to complete his legendary 3-hour workout. His consistency, positivity, and quiet determination inspired generations of members and staff alike. Les wasn’t just part of our Y — he was the heart of it. The halls of our YMCA won’t be the same without his familiar smile and warm spirit, but his legacy of wellness, friendship, and perseverance will live on. Please join us in honoring Les and sharing our love and memories with his family.
