Next month, we will be joined by three ensembles from Trinity Church NYC, including Downtown Voices! Praised by The New York Times for its “incisive, agile strength,” Downtown Voices is a semiprofessional choir conducted by Stephen Sands. Downtown Voices made its Carnegie Hall debut in 2022 with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by JoAnn Falletta. At Trinity Church, the choir has performed at Compline by Candlelight and headlined numerous marquee concerts. Our collaboration with Downtown Voices, Trinity Choir, and NOVUS, as well as soprano Angela Meade, mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges, tenor Won Whi Choi, and bass-baritone Kevin Short will take place on May 1 and 2 at Trinity Church! The RSVP limit for this event has been reached, but additional tickets will be available on the standby line the day of the show, or you can view the performance via live stream at www.trinitychurchnyc.org (fb)

Our 2024/25 season is coming to a close, and we want to take a moment to reflect on our performances from this season! We kicked off our season in November with a celebratory concert at The Town Hall for our 100th anniversary. The event featured baritone Will Liverman and soprano Joélle Harvey, along with guest conductors Kent Tritle and Christopher Shepard. In December, we hosted our annual holiday shows, “Messiah Sing!” and “Welcome Yule,” held at Union Theological Seminary and St. Philip's Episcopal Church. Our most recent performance took place this past February, where we presented Florence Price’s "Abraham Lincoln Walks at Midnight,” Schubert's "Psalm 23," and Brahms’ "Vier Gesänge für Frauenchor" at Union Theological Seminary. We have enjoyed performing for you, and we’re not finished just yet! Be sure to join us on May 1 and 2 at Trinity Church NYC for our collaboration with Downtown Voices, Trinity Choir, and NOVUS, as well as soprano Angela Meade, mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges, tenor Won Whi Choi, and bass-baritone Kevin Short!
