The P.O.I.S.E. (Professional, Optimum, Independent, Successful, and Educated) Inc. is a new program in Jacksonville, Florida. It is a humane, charitable, non-p The mission of POISE is to cultivate individual self-assurance (POISE) and empower individuals to realize their aspirations of independent living, attaining education, and securing professional positions. Our program provides the skills, training, and support necessary to achieve successful employment, alleviate homelessness and unemployment, and foster self-sufficiency through curriculum-based self-improvement programs and community service involvement. Furthermore, we are committed to offering youth after-school and summer camp programs, contributing to their holistic development and growth. Our afterschool and summer camp programs provide job readiness, career exploration, life skills, etiquette, financial literacy, and more to help teens successfully transition into adulthood.
