Univision news reporter and 20-time Emmy Award winner Julio Cesar Ortiz ('00) founded the CSU system's first weekly Spanish-language TV newscast and established a scholarship at CSUN to support first-generation students pursuing journalism. His career spans social justice, environmental and border reporting. Pictured together are Jonathan Gonzalez ('13) and Annabelle Sedano ('04) from NBC4. Gonzalez is the co-anchor for NBC4's weekend evening newscasts and a weekday general assignment reporter. As an award-winning journalist, he covers major political events and community stories across Southern California. Sedano is an NBC4 anchor with nearly two decades of experience covering everything from wildfires to elections. She is passionate about storytelling and amplifying voices, especially those of women and underserved communities. Camilla Rambaldi ('13) is a general assignment reporter for NBC4, covering impactful stories across Southern California. Previously, she reported on major events in San Antonio, including Hurricane Harvey and the Uvalde mass shooting. (fb)
