Edgar Stoesz representing Mennonite Central Committee at a meeting of the Council of Mennonite Mission Board Secretaries overheard a conversation about an insurance agent who had been visiting Mission Board offices and impressing on them their need to provide workers with health insurance. They were shocked at the prices the agent was quoting but conceded that perhaps they were underestimating their health care liabilities.
