The 2024 season of TECUMSEH! will be performed June 14 through September 1 Tuesday - Saturday nights. The mission of The Scioto Society is to advance and promote the artistic, recreational, industrial, economic, commercial and civic development of Chillicothe Ohio and the surrounding geographical areas comprised of Ross, Pickaway and Pike counties. The Society’s primary focus is the annual presentation of the historical drama Tecumseh! and also any additional activities that drive, support and promote the development, stability and prosperity of the area, its history, its residents and its visitors.

Home Upcoming Events Sponsored By Tecumseh The Ultimate Outdoor Drama Experience. Witness the epic life story of the legendary Shawnee leader as he struggles to defend his sacred homelands in the Ohio country during the late 1700s. The 2025 season runs June 12August 31 The huge outdoor stages of the Sugarloaf Mountain Amphitheatre afford the audience a unique viewing experience. Sit beneath the stars as sheer spectacle surrounds you with a herd of galloping horses live military cannon in action and the most dazzling battle sequences offered on the American stage.
