Since our founding in 1989, D&R Greenway has preserved 22,000 acres of land! D&R Greenway Land Trust’s mission is to preserve and care for land and inspire a conservation ethic now and for the future. We were honored to be among the first 10% of land trusts in the country to have received Accreditation in 2012 by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission. We proudly announce that we were awarded Reaccreditation in 2017 with no expectations for improvement. The Accreditation Commission states: this shows D&R Greenway has demonstrated sound finances, ethical conduct, responsible governance and lasting stewardship. This seal of approval ensures that D&R Greenway Land Trust meets national standards for excellence, upholding the public trust and ensuring that conservation efforts are permanent.
