Art Loisaida Foundation – Artists of the East Village / Lower East Side — ARTS – COMMUNITY – ENVIRONMENT
Art Loisaida's primary purpose is to promote the arts of the residents of the Lower East Side of Manhattan(Loisaida, East Village) by organizing art exhibits, multidisciplinary performances, film screenings and free workshops for children using art as a teaching tool. Much of our work is focused on the caring for the environment, hosting programs in community gardens and other public spaces. We seek to use public venues that are free and open to the public.
