Meet Najara, the bright 11-year-old in the pink cast. 🩷 She traveled from a small village 20 miles outside Santa Cruz, Bolivia, carrying the weight of constant pain with every step. Born with a significant hip displacement, Najara walked with a limp and endured daily discomfort due to uneven femoral length. But on this mission trip, her story changed. After a 3–4 hour procedure, performed by skilled surgeons, it relieved her pain and set her on a path toward walking freely. Thanks to a local anesthesia block, Najara woke up pain-free. After just three days of recovery and physical therapy, she returned home by taxi, all smiles and full of hope. (fb)
