The Karma Foundation Established in 1996 to provide grants in support of organizations engaged in activities and programs in the areas of Arts Culture Autism Education Literacy Health Human Services and Development Enrichment of Jewish Life The annual Rutgers Jewish Film Festival Celebrates 25 Years November 721 2024 For twentyfive years the Rutgers Jewish Film Festival has brought the community together for films that offer new perspectives on Jewish history culture and identity around the world. This year the festival will offer fourteen thoughtprovoking and entertaining films dynamic discussions with filmmakers and special guests and numerous New Jersey premieres on dance music American Jewish history and Israeli society. Eleven films will be screened at the Regal Cinema Commerce Center North Brunswick November 717 and five films will be available virtually November 1521. The festival is presented by the Allen and Joan Bildner Center for the Study of Jewish Life at Rutgers University and made possible by an annual grant from the Karma Foundation.
