How Were Funded Money for our awards and operations comes from a diverse array of private and public sources including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority members corporate and government donors nonprofit partnerships investment income and merchandise sales. Why We Do This With a mission to Promote Lifelong Learning AKA EAF believes that a selfsustaining funding model to provide educational opportunities is the surest way to empower individuals and communities. My passion to succeed in this field pushed me to look for outside scholarship and funding sources to reduce the burden of loans that I will have to take out in order to attend my Masters program.
