The mission of the South Pasadena Preservation Foundation is to foster awareness and appreciation of the historic heritage of South Pasadena and to advocate and facilitate preservation of significant examples of that heritage. PRESERVE THE MERIDIAN IRON WORKS MUSEUM, CONDUCT TOURS OF THE MUSEUM FOR THE PUBLIC, AND PROMOTE AWARENESS OF THE CULTURUAL AND HISTORICAL ASSETS OF SOUTH PASADENA.

Your action is urgently needed to protect an essential element of South Pasadenas history and culture. The South Pasadena Preservation Foundation SPPF was served notice by the City of South Pasadena to vacate the building that has housed the South Pasadena Historical Museum for 40 years. SPPF is now working with the city to try and correct this action against SPPF and the 52 years of work that we do and continue to do We are responding to that notice but now time is of the essence.
