CircEsteem teaches circus classes to youth all over Chicago; in residency at partner schools, throug CircEsteem’s mission is to unite youth across all backgrounds and identities by fostering self-esteem and mutual respect through the practice and performance of circus arts. At CircEsteem we are dedicated to empowering Chicago’s Youth to write their narratives. We do this through the medium of performing arts. CircEsteem creates the social conditions for youth from diverse racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds, abilities, immigration statuses, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations to find commonalities in their resilience and their commitment to reimagining the role youth play in shaping the future of Chicago.
