THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH THE CORPORATION IS FORMED IS TO PROMOTE SOCIAL WELFARE AND IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF PATIENTS WHO HAVE ACUTE AND CHRONIC PULMONARY ISSUES AND ARE IN NEED OF IN-HOME SERVICES BY, AMONG OTHER THINGS, (I) EDUCATING LEGISLATORS, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE NEEDS OF PERSONS WHO RECEIVE IN-HOME SERVICES FOR ACUTE AND CHRONIC PULMONARY ISSUES, (II) ADVOCATING FOR CHANGES IN LAW AND ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES RELATING TO IN-HOME SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH ACUTE AND CHRONIC PULMONARY ISSUES, AND (III) CONDUCTING ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH ON ISSUES AFFECTING PERSONS RECEIVING OR CAPABLE OF RECEIVING IN-HOME SERVICES FOR ACUTE AND CHRONIC PULMONARY ISSUES.
