The Bass Foundation Our mission is to enrich the lives of individuals in underserved communities in Essex County NJ through mentoring education and programs that support essential family needs. Message from Our Founder Heart to Heart Changing Lives One at a Time The idea for The Bass Foundation emerged while I was watching a story on the news many years ago. I saw people on a train distributing clothing food and toys to underprivileged kids and was immediately drawn to this sense of handson charitable giving. I realized that it was the personal connections with our recipients that would mold us and inspire us to become the foundation that we are today.
