Gaia, the 3 banded armadillo, stops for a quick drink before zooming off to continue building up her cozy bed. There are 20 species of armadillos, and while they all sport that unique armor, each species has a variety of special adaptations. 3 banded armadillos are primarily termite eaters and do not have front teeth.
