Oakland Service Ministries
OSM is a tool to be used to start or continue Christian ministries and projects that benefit the community. OSM can provide the following to a start up program or idea:* Forum for sharing ministry ideas and assisting the founder in channeling ideas into written form.* Fiscal sponsor registered as a Pennsylvania nonprofit charitable corporation with IRS 501(c)(3) status for fund-raising. Note: to be tax-deductible, contributions must be paid to a 501(c)(3) organization.* Annual Federal tax filing.* State and local tax numbers for reporting and filing taxes on employees and operations.* Dedicated volunteers that can direct the founder toward potential funding sources.
