Welcome to Pilot Dogs

Inspiring and empowering the blind to live with greater independence, safety, and dignity Established in 1950 as a nonprofit organization in Columbus, Ohio, our mission is to provide expertly-trained guide dogs, orientation and mobility training, and other valuable services free of charge to those in need, inspiring and empowering them to navigate the world with greater independence, safety, and dignity. Pilot Dogs is a 100% donor-funded organization, so the generous donations of time and money from the public allow us to continue providing these services at no cost to the people that we serve, which include military veterans, individuals who are legally blind, and students in our school resource program.
