MOTA IS AN ADVOCATE FOR THE PROFESSION AS IT RELATES TO ISSUES OF RESEARCH, REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES, SCOPE OF PRACTICE, LEGISLATION, CONTINUING EDUCATION, AND PUBLIC AWARENESS OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY.
