THE CONTENT OF THE MEETINGS IS ENTIRELY EDUCATIONAL AND INCLUDES SPEAKERS FROM THE INDUSTRY WHO DISCUSS TECHNICAL ISSUES AFFECTING THE PILOTS. THE COUNCIL ALSO PUBLISHES A HELIPORT DIRECTORY FOR THE MAJOR NEW YORK AIRPORTS. THE COUNCIL ALSO COORDINATES THE EFFORTS OF ITS MEMBERS TO IMPROVE ACCESS TO LOCAL AIRPORTS BY HIRING CONSULTANTS AND ATTORNEYS TO REPRESENT THE INTEREST OF THE MEMBERS.
