Funny Mya story that somewhat mirrors this meme. We had the cutest pair of squirrels who visited our yard last spring. One was skinny while the other was pretty chunky. Chubs was out in the backyard when Mya bolted out the door, and Chubs hightailed it across the yard and up to the fence line. Mya was hot on his heels but just a shade too slow. Chubs chittered at her for a few, I'm picturing a "nana-nana boo-boo" moment, and then he jumps into my neighbor's scraggly little tree. Well, Chubs misjudged the tree limb's girth and strength. It dipped; Chubs slipped, fell to Earth about a foot or two from Mya. Chubs is stunned, and Mya, confused, looks back at me like, "What do I do, Mom?" I'm in hysterics, which gives Chubs enough time to shake it off and clamor back up the fence and strategically choose another limb. Mya disheartened, barks and mopes back to Mom, who is just beginning to recover from laughter and kicking herself for not having her phone to record the event for prosperity. 😂 (fb)
