Yoga Behind Bars
Peace is an Inside Job Yoga Behind Bars (YBB) shares trauma-informed yoga and meditation with incarcerated people to promote rehabilitation, personal transformation, and a more just society for all. Through our services, we equip youth and adults with tools for healing, moving us closer to a world were all people can recover and grow. When we recognize and affirm the humanity and capabilities of incarcerated individuals, we can build a healthy future for all.

Healing is for all of us. Since 2008 Yoga Behind Bars has brought traumainformed yoga into jails prisons and detention centers. We cant fix our broken criminal legal system without addressing trauma. YBB programs give people behind bars the opportunity to heal grow and prepare for their return to our communities by addressing a root cause of incarceration trauma.
