#ThrowbackThursday to Prayer as Resistance 2.2! 🙏 This Spring, artist and theologian Julian Davis Reid led the Prayer as Resistance 2.2 retreat, hosted by the Center for Contemplative Leadership. This sacred retreat was a powerful journey into the rest of God and explored the relationship between prayer, rest, and resistance through the Bible and Black music in Notes of Rest, an initiative founded by Reid. Through contemplative prayer, scripture, and the healing rhythms of music, we paused, reflected, and re-centered. A reminder that we find strength in stillness through spiritual restoration, communal resistance, and soul-deep rest. 🧘 Read more: https://bit.ly/prayresistancePTSem #NotesOfRest #PrayerAsResistance #RestIsResistance #ContemplativeLeadership #PrincetonSeminary (fb)
