AWARENESSPublic Health CornerJune2021 CCHER has more than 26 years of advocacy for the right to health care and providing direct social health behavioral and prevention services to our clients and their families. CCHER is the current subrecipient of a grant funded by the National REACH Coalition NRC a major recipient of the Centers for Disease Control Prevention CDC. NRC is responsible for supporting the metro Boston Haitian community to strategically organize to implement and evaluate healthy eating and active living that eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities in chronic diseases. With the formation of a Community Leadership Team CLT CCHER is working together with the Haitian community to advocate and promote systemic changes for a healthy community.
