CCHER is the current subrecipient of a grant funded by the National REACH Coalition NRC a major recipient of the Centers for Disease Control Prevention CDC. NRC is responsible for supporting the metro Boston Haitian community to strategically organize to implement and evaluate healthy eating and active living that eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities in chronic diseases. With the formation of a Community Leadership Team CLT CCHER is working together with the Haitian community to advocate and promote systemic changes for a healthy community.
