TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A SAFE AND ADEQUATE BLOOD SUPPLY FOR ALTRU HEALTH SYSTEM AND LOCAL HEALTH CARE FACILITIES SO THAT PATIENTS HAVE AVAILABLE APPROPRIATE BLOOD COMPONENTS.
