The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) is an accredited, nonprofit, bachelor's degree-granting college that ignites curious minds through art, design and service. The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) is Wisconsin’s only four-year, private college of visual art and design, offering a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design, Illustration, Product Design, Interior Architecture and Design, and New Studio Practice: Fine Arts. MIAD’s mission is to ignite curious minds through art, design and service, and its vision is to be a galvanized educational and creative community, addressing universal needs through thought, design and expression. In addition to the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, MIAD offers a continuum of programs and services to the community that promote professional and life-long learning and engagement.
