Coney Island Prep is the 1st K-12 public charter school in southern Brooklyn, and 100% of our high school graduates have been accepted to college! K-12 public charter school in southern Brooklyn, serving 1,300+ scholars. Coney Island Prep Builders Inc was incorporated in May 2008 in order to provide funds to organizations listed in IRC 501 (c)(3) that foster rigorous college preparation for students in Brooklyn. In particular, we will issue grants to the Coney Island Preparatory Public Charter School. The mission of Coney Island Preparatory Public Charter School is to develop the academic skills and character necessary for success in selective colleges and universities, and the career of their choice. Students will realize success through a rigorous academic program, with a strong focus on writing, in a supportive and structured school community.
