BxCM is a new kind of multicultural, Bronx-inspired children’s museum operating with & without walls. Founded in 2005, BxCM is a new kind of multicultural, Bronx-inspired children’s museum operating “with and without walls” geared to those from infancy through fourth grade. The building, the first children's museum in the history of the Bronx, opened in December 2022 and located in the South Bronx. Outreach program began in 2010 and have since engaged 125,000+ children/families at 611 different community events and 103 educational institutions. BxCM celebrates the natural curiosity, creativity and compassion inherent in all children. Through play and learning, we nurture children to find their voice, fulfill their potential and connect to their communities, the Bronx and the world beyond.
