UNION HEALTH CENTER, INC. (THE "CENTER") IS A FREESTANDING DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT CENTER, LICENSED UNDER ARTICLE 28 OF THE NEW YORK STATE HEALTH LAW, LOCATED IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK. THE CENTER WAS INCORPORATED UNDER THE NAME UNION SANATORIUM ASSOCIATION.THE CENTER WAS INCORPORATED IN 1917 AS THE FIRST FACILITY OF ITS TYPE FOR UNION MEMBERS IN THE UNITED STATES. THE CENTER PROVIDES A BROAD RANGE OF HEALTH SERVICES, MAINLY TO UNION MEMBERS, THEIR DEPENDENTS, AND RETIREES IN THE NEW YORK CITY CITY METROPOLITAN AREA.
